Peloton Stuck on Downloading Update 100 - Any Fixes?

I’ve recently run into a frustrating issue with my Peloton bike, as it seems to be stuck on downloading update 100. I’ve tried restarting the device and checking for any network issues, but nothing seems to work. Here are a few steps I’ve taken:

  1. Restart the device: I powered it off and on again, hoping it would reset the update process.
  2. Check Wi-Fi connection: My Wi-Fi seems to be working fine for other devices, but I double-checked just in case.
  3. Leave it for a while: I let it sit for a couple of hours to see if it would eventually complete.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any tips or tricks that worked for you to get past this update stall? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m eager to get back to my workouts!

I’ve had the same issue with my Peloton stuck on downloading update 100. The first thing I tried was rebooting the device by unplugging it and plugging it back in. It worked for me!

Rebooting is definitely a good first step! After that, check your Wi-Fi connection. A weak or unstable network could be causing the update to stall.

I’ve also seen success by performing a factory reset when all else fails. Just remember to back up your data first! It can be a last resort solution.

I find it amusing that my Peloton updates can take longer than my work updates! Anyone else feel the same? But seriously, I’d try checking your router or restarting the network equipment too.

Yes! A few times I had to bring my router closer to the bike to maintain a stronger connection during those updates.

Thanks for the tips, everyone! I didn’t think checking the DNS settings on my router could make a difference, but it did for me. Make sure to give that a shot if you’re stuck!

Are we sure the update isn’t just a clever tactic from Peloton to keep us from riding? I mean, over an hour? It’s quite the mystery.

I had to do that once, and it felt like starting from scratch! But it did fix my issue, so it was worth the hassle.

Don’t forget about software updates on your router—sometimes they need a refresh too! It can affect how your devices connect.

I’m wondering if Peloton is working on a fix for this. It’s not just you; several users are facing similar issues! Let’s keep the updates coming.

Before resorting to a factory reset, I suggest clearing the cache on the bike’s settings. It could save you some frustration and data!

I was in the same boat! Unplugging the bike for a few minutes worked wonders for me. It might be worth a shot.

Have you also tried connecting via Ethernet? I heard mixed reviews, but it helped some users finish the download quicker.

Honestly, I thought I might need to throw my Peloton out the window! But I did a factory reset and it finally updated. Just be prepared to set everything up again.

Wow, I didn’t even think of that! Did you lose all your saved workouts?

Just a heads-up, factory resets can erase some settings, but your account info should stay intact. I would recommend backing up anything important if you go that route.

I did that too, and it worked! Who knew? I switched from Wi-Fi to Ethernet, and the update finished in a jiffy!
