For stability, I’ve found using weight distribution hitches to be essential. They can take the strain off the vehicle. Just sharing my two cents!
Speaking of hitches, I’ve been considering a self-install option but I’m a bit hesitant. How challenging is it to install one yourself?
It’s not too tough if you’re somewhat handy! I installed mine with basic tools, but having a friend helps. Just take your time and follow the instructions carefully.
Thanks for the encouragement! I appreciate it. I might just give it a go!
Has anyone done a long-distance tow with their EV6? Curious about how it affects range/charging times!
I took mine on a 500-mile trip with a trailer, and it definitely impacts your range. Charge breaks are a must, but it was manageable overall!
Gotta admit, it does sound like an adventure! Anyone up for a towing meetup? I could use a trailer buddy!
Count me in, jorge83! It’s always more fun with company. Plus, we can swap towing stories!
