What's the deal with the VW ID.4 frunk? Any alternatives?

I think a small cooler would fit just fine. Just make sure it’s not too heavy since the frunk isn’t made for super heavy loads.

Can we agree that the VW ID.4 frunk is pretty awesome? Much better than the basic storage in some other EVs out there.

I’ve found that keeping the frunk clean is super easy! A microfiber cloth and some gentle car soap work wonders. Just be careful not to scratch the surfaces.

Absolutely! And for organization, I recommend a cargo net. It keeps everything in place and tidy.

Don’t forget to check the frunk’s seals regularly. Some users reported leaks if they’re not maintained properly. Just a little extra care goes a long way!

Great point! Also, if you notice any odd sounds when closing it, make sure the latch is properly aligned. It can get misaligned sometimes.

I love using bungee cords in the frunk! They can hold loose items securely without taking a lot of space. Just be cautious not to pull too tight!

To clean the frunk, avoid harsh chemical cleaners. They can damage the plastic. Stick with vinegar and water for a safe and effective solution.

Good advice! Also, I heard some people facing issues with the frunk not locking correctly. Make sure to lubricate the latch regularly!

Honestly, I have to admit, I sometimes forget about the frunk! Do you think there are any practical uses for it apart from just storage?

I think a quick snack cooler could be a fun idea! Just pack some ice in there and you’re good to go, right?
