I’m looking to gather some insights and experiences from anyone who’s installed or used the Tein Street Advance Z coilover suspension system. I’ve been researching their performance, setup process, and whether they truly enhance the driving experience.
Key Points I’m Interested In:
Installation Experience: How was the process for you? Any specific tips?
Performance: How do they handle on different terrains? Do they improve ride quality significantly?
Adjustability: How easy is it to adjust them for different driving styles or conditions?
Comparison with Other Brands: If you’ve used other coilovers, how do they stack up against the Street Advance Z?
Durability: After some time, how have they held up? Any issues with wear and tear?
I appreciate any feedback or insights you can provide, especially if you have experience with various car models. Thanks in advance!
I’ve been using the Tein Street Advance Z on my ’15 WRX, and the difference in handling is incredible! Cornering feels much more precise and controlled.
I installed these on my 240SX and I’m thrilled with how they handle bumps and uneven roads. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a balance between comfort and performance.
Overall, I think the Tein Street Advance Z are great for anyone who wants a sporty feel without sacrificing ride quality. Just balance your settings for what you want.
Hey everyone! Just finished installing the Tein Street Advance Z on my Honda Civic. The install was pretty straightforward, but I did need a friend to help out. A torque wrench is a must! Anyone else find the rear shocks a bit tricky?
I definitely agree! I struggled with the rear shocks too. A tip I found helpful was to lift the body slightly to get better access. Makes a world of difference!
I installed mine last week. I had to trim some plastic on the mounting points for a perfect fit. It was a bit of a hassle, but worth it for the ride quality!
I feel you, davidrobinson! I had to adjust the heights a few times before settling on my sweet spot. The ride now is super smooth, but I wish I had done more research on the setup beforehand.
