I switched from EBC to R1 Concepts and found R1 to be quieter and with better bite. EBC had more dust, which was annoying after a while.

Honestly, my only complaint is the initial squeaking during the break-in period. But it resolved quickly. Other than that, they perform great!

Squeaking isn’t too bad! I’ve dealt with much worse. I’m leaning toward getting them now after reading all this.

I just installed R1 Concepts Rotors on my Civic last weekend. The installation was straightforward, just needed basic tools like a jack and socket set. No special tools required! Just make sure your rotors are properly aligned.

I went with the R1 brake pads, which worked perfectly with the rotors. I did face a small issue with squeaking initially, but it went away after a few drives. How about you, jayparsons?
