Anyone have thoughts on the 2023 Model 3 Standard Range?

Introduction

I’m in the market for a new electric vehicle, and the 2023 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range is catching my eye. I’ve been doing some research, but I’d love to hear from members of this community who might already own or have experience with this model.

Key Specifications

From what I’ve gathered, this model has some pretty impressive specifications.

  • Range: Estimated at around 272 miles, which is looking good for my daily commutes.
  • 0-60 mph: Around 5.8 seconds, which seems quite speedy for a standard range sedan.
  • Charging: How does the Supercharging network compare to charging at home in terms of convenience and cost?

Performance Feedback

I’m especially interested in how it performs in real-world conditions.

  • Battery Life: How well does it hold up over time?
  • Driving Experience: Is it as fun to drive as some reviews say?

User Experiences

I know everyone has a different experience, so I’d love to hear:

  • How’s the comfort level on longer drives?
  • Any issues with software updates or autopilot features?
  • What are the best things about owning this model that you didn’t expect?

Purchasing and Configurations

For those who have purchased it recently:

  • Any tips on the ordering process?
  • Are there specific configurations you would recommend?
  • Is the Standard Range model the best bang for the buck, or should I consider upgrading?

Conclusion

Ultimately, I’m here to gather insights to help make a more informed decision. If anyone has feedback or reviews, it would be much appreciated!

I’ve driven the 2023 Model 3 Standard Range, and the acceleration is phenomenal! You can really feel the instant torque. It’s a noticeable upgrade from the 2021 model in terms of responsiveness.

I completely agree! The handling is also super smooth. I took it through some winding roads, and it felt incredibly stable.

Just picked mine up last week. The acceleration feels quicker compared to my old Model 3! I can’t get over how responsive it is, especially in Sport mode.

That’s fascinating! I’ve yet to try Sport mode; does it make a big difference in everyday driving?

Oh, definitely! In Sport mode, the car feels more alive and eager to respond. It transforms the driving experience. I use it for highway merges often.

But what about the ride comfort? I hope it’s still comfortable for daily driving.

The ride comfort is surprisingly good! I find it balances firmness and comfort well. Definitely better than older models that could be a bit harsh.

The steering is definitely more refined. I feel like I get a better connection to the road than before, which elevates the driving experience.

That’s promising! Can’t wait to test one myself. Has anyone faced issues with performance after software updates?

I’ve had a few updates and haven’t faced any issues. If anything, I’ve seen improvements in range and performance!

Does it still have that iconic Tesla speed? I’m all about quick launches! :rocket:

Oh yes! It launches like a rollercoaster! Just be careful; it can turn your coffee into a mess if you’re not ready!

I just got my 2023 Model 3 Standard Range and I’m really impressed! The battery range has been solid, averaging around 250 miles on most trips. Charging speeds are pretty decent too, especially at Superchargers.

That’s great to hear! I was concerned about how it stacks up against competitors like the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Any thoughts on how the charging speeds compare?

I’ve also noticed the efficiency of the Model 3 is pretty impressive. Even with spirited driving, I’m seeing good energy consumption rates compared to my old car, which was a gas guzzler.

The charging speed is fast! With Supercharging, I’ve charged from 20% to 80% in about 30 minutes. Definitely beats the competition in that department!

That’s impressive! But what about home charging? How does it perform there?
