In most VW models, holding the unlock button down on the remote should roll down the windows. If that’s not working, you may need to reprogram the remote.

Sometimes simply resetting the car’s electronic systems can help. Try disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes!

It could also be an issue with the wiring to the window switch itself. Look for any frayed wires or loose connections inside the door.
