For sure, @craig44! I’ve also noticed that weather plays a big role. On rainy days, I’ve struggled to hit 60 quickly because of traction issues.

I’ve seen the 2017 Audi S3 advertised with a 0 to 60 time of around 4.6 seconds. How does that stack up against competitors like the VW Golf R or the Ford Focus RS?
The S3’s time is definitely competitive. The Golf R is usually around the same at 4.6 seconds, but the Focus RS sometimes edges it out slightly at 4.5 seconds. Which one gives a better driving feel though? That’s subjective!

Totally agree! The S3 is refined, but for pure fun, the Focus RS has that raw edge that can make a drive exciting!

Most real-world tests I’ve seen confirm those times, but remember, they often depend on conditions. Tires and weather play a huge role too!
After all this talk, I can’t help but chuckle at how obsessed we get over a few tenths of a second! Both the S3 and its competitors are fast enough to thrill most drivers.
