VW Loaner Car Policy - What's the Deal?

Haha, exactly! It’s like they know we might not come back if we get too comfortable!

Just a thought: maybe VW’s strategy is about keeping us grounded! But it does make me wonder if it hurts their overall reputation.

Very possible! However, a little more comfort wouldn’t hurt, right? It’s all about the balance!

I recently had to use a VW loaner while my car was in for service. The quality of the vehicle was excellent—almost new! However, I wish I had received more detailed instructions on its features.

I totally get that! I spent 10 minutes just figuring out how to turn on the radio in the loaner. I think it should come with an owner’s manual!

The loaner car I received was in great shape, but it had a weird smell. It made the experience a bit awkward. Has anyone else faced similar issues?

I’ve had a loaner car that smelled like fast food! I could barely enjoy the drive. Perhaps we should mention this to the dealership!

I took a loaner last month when mine was in. Free gas for 2 days too! Just make sure to check for any dings. I found one that wasn’t noted when I picked it up.

Absolutely! I got charged for a scratch that was already there, but I had no proof. Always do a walk-around!

I’ve had mixed experiences with VW loaners. Sometimes they’re top-notch, sometimes, not so much. When I got one that drove weirdly, the dealer just shrugged it off.

That’s frustrating! I’ve had that happen too. It’s almost like they assume we’re just happy to get a loaner, no matter the condition.

I once had a loaner that was way fancier than my own VW. I felt like I was driving a luxury car for a week! Anyone else had an upgrade?

Lucky! I got stuck with an older model that threw a fit every time I drove over a bump. Definitely felt like a downgrade!
