Looking for Shops That Install Lowering Springs – Any Recommendations?

True! I think $500 is a fair cost for good installation, especially if they have solid reviews.

I had a bad experience at a cheap shop once. They didn’t install my springs properly, and it cost me way more to fix it later! So, it’s wise to shop around, but don’t just go for the lowest price.

Can anyone recommend specific shops in the Atlanta area? I’d love to find a reliable one!

Sure! I had my work done at Performance Auto in Atlanta. They were reasonable with cost and did top-notch work.

Thanks for the recommendation! What should I expect to pay there?

I believe they charge around $400-$500 for installation, but it can go up based on your car’s make and model.

That’s not too bad! I think it’s a good investment if it aligns with how you want your car to look and handle.

Just remember, you might want to budget for new shocks if yours are older. It could save you a lot of trouble down the road!

I’ve had lowering springs installed at Speedy Motors and it was a great experience! They did a fantastic job with the alignment too.

I’ve heard really good things about Speedy Motors! What springs did you go with?

I went with Eibach Pro-Kit springs. The drop is perfect, and it improved my handling quite a bit! Just be ready for a slightly firmer ride.

Sounds great! Did you notice any alignment issues after the installation?

Not really, but I recommend getting the alignment checked right after. Better to be safe and avoid uneven tire wear!

I had a different experience—my alignment was off and it created some odd tire wear. Make sure to budget for an alignment!

That’s good advice! What shop did you use, Elizabeth?

I used AutoFix. They were decent but I’d try a specialized shop next time.

Max Performance can also do a great job if you’re in the area. I had my springs installed there and was really pleased with the ride quality!

Good to know! I love when a shop can improve ride quality after installing mods.

The ride is firmer, but not uncomfortable. Just don’t expect a luxury car feel after lowering. It’s more responsive for sure!

Haha, right? My car feels like a go-kart now—nearly gives me whiplash over bumps though!
