Is 55% Tint on Windshield a Good Idea?

I believe 55% is a sweet spot! It lightens the cabin but still helps with UV protection. But if you live in a really sunny area, a darker tint might provide extra comfort.

Does anyone have tips for maintaining the tint after installation? I’ve seen some people facing issues with peeling or bubbling.

After application, avoid cleaning the windows for at least a week. High-quality films should hold up well with normal care.

I’ve had my tint on for over a year now, and using mild soap and a soft cloth has really helped prevent scratches and keep it looking fresh!

That’s great advice! I usually avoid ammonia-based cleaners though; they can damage the film over time.

Why not just skip the tint? Seems like a lot of upkeep! Or is it really worth it for the aesthetics?

Honestly, the comfort from reduced glare is a game-changer for me. Plus, it looks sleek!

A 55% tint on the windshield?! Sounds like a tea party in a sunbeam! How does that even work? Just think about how it reflects light. Haha!

Haha, that’s a funny way to put it! But seriously, it strikes a balance between aesthetics and functionality.
