Any BMW Models with Those Cool Upward Doors?

Performance is key! I think the upward doors generally help with aerodynamics, but I’m curious about any studies showing real-world data on performance differences.

I’ve read that while the design looks cool and aerodynamically inclined, it’s the engine and chassis that primarily dictate performance. It’s all interconnected.

It’s all about synergy! The cool factor of upward doors is undeniable, but if it doesn’t enhance performance, why bother? Thoughts?

Good point! I think they can, at least in specific models. BMW combines the best of both worlds with design and function in mind.

So much debate! It’s fascinating how many angles there are to consider. I appreciate design that enhances performance, but humorously, I just want to impress my friends!

Haha! That’s a good reason! Who doesn’t want to feel fancy? Still, I’d choose an ordinary door if it meant better handling.

At the end of the day, it boils down to personal preference and what you value in a car. I think BMW has nailed the aesthetic for the upward doors, though!
