3M Crystalline vs XPEL XR Plus - What's the Better Tint?

Great tip! Is there a significant difference in the easiness of applying each brand?

3M tends to be a bit more forgiving during installation. XPEL’s material can be more challenging, but both materials have their unique advantages once installed.

I had my XPEL installed by a pro and they said it’s really durable once it’s set, so I’d lean that way for long-term performance despite the initial struggle in application.

That’s encouraging! What about warranty differences? Are there any worth noting?

3M usually offers a lifetime warranty, while XPEL XR Plus has around 10 years. Both are solid choices depending on your priorities, but I liked the lifetime aspect of 3M.

Wow, that’s a big difference. Which tint do you think performs better in terms of heat rejection?

Both perform well, but 3M Crystalline tends to have a slight edge in heat rejection. XPEL is excellent for UV protection and visibility, though.

Thanks for the insight! It seems like both have pros and cons. I might need a second opinion!

I’ve seen forums say 3M is like the dependable friend, while XPEL is the flashy one—great to have, but sometimes acts up. I’m a fan of the reliable vibe!
